The iMaker jailbreak tweak, available in Cydia right now, is developed by Javier Brito and allows you to make unique animations for your app icons in three easy steps:
- Select the icons you want to animate, such as those with unread notifications, have been recently updated, or the last five applications that have been backgrounded.
- Select the base animation.
- Add any desired special effects.
Almost every base animation and special effect can be combined along with different speeds. This adds up to a large amount of possible animations. There is even a live preview in the tweak’s settings that will help in fine tuning your creation. iMaker requires iOS 7 and you can configure its options in the Settings app.
You can check out a video demonstration below for a better understanding of how iMaker works.
iMaker can be installed from the BigBoss repo for $1.99. If you wish to just try out iMaker, the developer has also released a “Lite” version in Cydia, which is ad-supported with limited features. Share your thoughts about this tweak in the comments section.
