iMaker Allows You To Make Animations For Your App Icons [Cydia Tweak]

Home / iMaker Allows You To Make Animations For Your App Icons [Cydia Tweak]

The iMaker jailbreak tweak, available in Cydia right now, is developed by Javier Brito and allows you to make unique animations for your app icons in three easy steps:

  1. Select the icons you want to animate, such as those with unread notifications, have been recently updated, or the last five applications that have been backgrounded.
  2. Select the base animation.
  3. Add any desired special effects.

Almost every base animation and special effect can be combined along with different speeds. This adds up to a large amount of possible animations. There is even a live preview in the tweak’s settings that will help in fine tuning your creation. iMaker requires iOS 7 and you can configure its options in the Settings app.

You can check out a video demonstration below for a better understanding of how iMaker works.

iMaker can be installed from the BigBoss repo for $1.99. If you wish to just try out iMaker, the developer has also released a “Lite” version in Cydia, which is ad-supported with limited features. Share your thoughts about this tweak in the comments section.
