LockSpeed is a new tweak that lets you add speed dial options to your lockscreen. It’s similar to the Favorites section on the Phone app, but with this tweak, you can access them directly from the lockscreen.
With this tweak installed, you no longer have to unlock your device to place a call to one of your favorites. It displays the first 9 contacts in your favorites list on a separate page on the lockscreen. To access this page, you simply have to swipe left on the screen and you can tap to call a contact. This can be very handy when you’re in a hurry to call your friend, girlfriend, parents etc.
You can Enable/Disable the tweak from the Settings app. LockSpeed shows your favorite contacts in circles, just like how the numbers are shown on the lockscreen. If your contact has an image, then the contact image is shown, otherwise you’ll only see the initials. Hence, it would be much better if you have images for your contacts!
A useful tweak, don’t you think? LockSpeed is currently available in the BigBoss repo for $1.99. It isn’t compatible with the new iOS 8 jailbreak yet, but any device on iOS 7.0.x or later will be compatible. Try it out and let us know what you think of it.
