If you’ve used Vine before, then you know that you cannot download videos from the app. Some videos or ‘vines’ are so hilarious, that they need to be saved to your Camera Roll. The iOS app doesn’t allow you to do so. Enter Vine++, a new tweak that lets you download Vines from the iOS app. There are other tweaks and third party apps that do the same, but the more the merrier.
Vine++ doesn’t come with any options. Once installed, you’ll see a small arrow at the corner of every Vine video. Tap on it and the video will simply download to your Camera Roll. The tweak also allows you to stop the autoplay feature, which can be very annoying.
The Disable Autoplay toggle can be found in the Vine iOS app settings. So if you like Vine videos and like to download them, you should try this tweak out. It’s available in the BigBoss repo for free. Try it out and let us know what you think of it in comments section.
Adding ringtones to your iOS device can be a real pain. Here’s a new Cydia tweak that makes downloading and adding ringtones to your iOS device painless. It’s called EZRingtones and lets you download ringtones from popular website Audiko and Zedge.
Apple doesn’t allow users to download ringtones and add them to the Ringtones list in iOS. With the help of the EZRingtones tweak, you can download your favourite ringtones from Audiko or Zedge and have them show up in the Ringtones list automatically.
To use EZRingtones, you’ll need to have both Audiko and Zedge apps installed. Now whenever you download a ringtone using either the Audiko or Zedge app, it’ll be automatically available in Settings>Sounds>Ringtone. If you like having your favourite song as your ringtone and you have a jailbroken device, you need to try this tweak now.
EZRingtones is available in the BigBoss repo for free and requires an iOS device running iOS 7 or later.
The WhatsApp Messenger application for iPhone and other smartphones is generally a great app, but sometimes it can get annoying. The WhatsApp Black List jailbreak tweak from developer UnlimApps Inc. aims to make the WhatsApp application less annoying by disabling notification reminders and sending read receipts. It also has some other handy features which can be found in its preference pane in the default Settings app.
The developer says that this tweak will soon allow users to disable sending read receipts on a per basic basis. He will also be adding the ability to block contacts in a more find grained detail than what WhatsApp currently offers.
This tweak requires iOS 7 and the WhatsApp Messenger app from the App Store for it to work properly. If you would like to download this tweak for your iPhone, it is available in Cydia from the default BigBoss repository for free. Let us know your thoughts on WhatsApp Black List in the comments below.
